Of DP Reel Requirements...

After 2 weeks of chickenpox Ito finally recovered and joined us for class today. Oh, and surprised us with his brand new bluish-greenish hair.

Mr Eddie pointed out the requirements for our DP Reel project and whoooo boy, it's a long list of shots! To be honest there were some shots that we've never heard of. Rack Focus? Dolly in? Dolly out? Yeah, Mr. Eddie, FINE, we'll look it up. Eheheh. For your "reading pleasure", here are the requirements:

Camera Distances
Extreme Long Shot
Long Shot
Medium Shot
Close Ups

Focus / Depth of Field
Rack Focus / Selective Focus
Depth of Field (Shallow space/deep space)

Camera Movement
Pan
Tilt
Dolly in/out
Zoom in de-focus (?)
Pan tilt

Camera Movement 2
Hand held movement
Hand held walking
Tracking shots
Drive by shooting

Camera Height

Eye level Shot
Floor level Shot

Camera Angles
Low Angle
High Angle
Aerial High Angle
Ground Low Angle
Dutch Angle/Canted Angle

told you it was a long list...

Every single shot has to be shot. And at 15 seconds for each shot. With limited time and limited resources, we seriously have to get things started ASAP! Right Mr Eddie? (imagining him nod and saying "yeah, get it done quickly...don't wait till the last minute")

Will be updating soon! :)
